The Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all services offered by Vita Lumen. We will not share your information with any third-party other than as described in this Privacy Policy. When you use a feature of the Site, you acknowledge and accept the terms listed in this Privacy Policy and we reserve the right to use your information as described in this Privacy Policy. 

The Privacy Policy may be modified periodically. We will inform you of any changes in the Privacy Policy by updating the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page.

  • Generating a personal profile about you to make subsequent visits to our Site more personalized. 

  • Giving a reply to your requests or inquiries via our Customer Support

  • Monitoring and analyzing usage and trends to enhance your user experience with the Site

  • Sending you relevant marketing communications

  • We also use your personal information to troubleshoot and improve the functionalities of our Site.

We may also, with your consent, store video and audio recordings of your sessions in a secure location when you have a session with us which you will have access to. These video and audio files are primarily stored for your future reference and will automatically be deleted after three (3) calendar days.

We do not store your personal information for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. However, we may retain and use your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, enforce our agreements and rights, and resolve issues. Upon request, we will endeavor to delete your personal information from our database.

We would also take other steps in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Information collected through the Site is stored and processed in the United States. If you reside in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data use and collection different from the United States law, please be informed that we may transfer information to a country that does not have the same data protection law as your jurisdiction and you consent to the transfer of information to any country in which we maintain facilities. We will however endeavor to take reasonable measures to keep an adequate level of data protection when sharing your Personal Information with such jurisdictions.

We fully comply with international laws that respect the privacy of children. Therefore we do not knowingly or intentionally collect or process any personal information from children under the ages of 18. If you are under 18 and you use our Site, stop immediately and do not send us any personal information. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided personal information to us via the Site, please contact whitney@vita-lumen.com. We will take adequate steps to delete such information.

  1. You have the right to annually request a written, free of charge documentation of the personal information we have on you on our account files. To request this document, please contact whitney@vita-lumen.com.  

  2. You have the right to correct, update, or request for the deletion of any information we have about you from our Site. You can make this request by emailing us at whitney@vita-lumen.com. We will respond to your request as soon as we can. In cases where we may not be able to remove your personal information, we will endeavor to let you know that we are unable to do so and why. As an example, we may be required by law or otherwise to keep certain information for a certain time without deleting it. After the expiration of the retention time however, we will comply with your deletion request. 

  3. We may send administrative and marketing communications to you via email from time to time about your transactions on the Site, as well as customer service response to requests, customer surveys, and promotions, including updates about new services that may be available to you on the Site. You can choose to opt-out of receiving any marketing or promotional emails from us at any time by simply clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional or marketing email. Please be informed that you may not be able to opt-out of receiving non-promotional emails regarding your account or your transactions with us, and customer support responses.

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is judged to be illegal, void, or unenforceable due to applicable law or by order of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall be deemed deleted and the continuation in full force and effect of the remainder of the provisions will not be prejudiced.
